In the context of SOA 5, most of the first two chapters of the userguide would be great additions to the registry chapter of the services guide.

The dev guide isn't applicable for SOA customers.

Some of the database chapter might make it in, as part of SOA-1207

Actually creating this as a new book.

Only a few chapters will be included in the product doc, should be less than a dozen pages

1 - Currently creating docbook version of complete community guide as publican compatible maven project.  
2 - Once that is done, a SOA version will be created with only the SOA required content.  
3 - The SOA version will then be proofed.
