According to RIFTSAW-256 this has been fixed in Riftsaw 2.1.0.Final. I can confirm that it works on JBoss AS but it does not work on SOA-P. This will most probably be a productization bug. 

More things than this don't work on SOA-P but work on JBossAS. Most notably correlations. The correlation problem is very similar to this RIFTSAW-159 - no exception is thrown but no response comes back either.

didn't see this anymore in the riftsaw with jboss as, forward to QA to check on the SOA, if it still exists, please re-open it.

The  BPEL Console was not providing users with feedback when authentication failed. It has now been enhanced to tell users this information.
