Unpacking:

  .../server/<profile>/deploy/riftsaw.sar/lib/riftsaw-dao-jpa-*.jar

and replacing the file:

  META-INF/persistence.xml

with the attached replacement works around this.

Candidate for SOA 5.1.0.

This issue no longer shows up in tests with SOA ER2.
