Description of problem: It is fail to launch screensaver in twinview mode. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: 1:Install RHEL 6.2 RC X86_64 2:Install NVidia linux driver 285.05.09 3:Connect 2 monitors and enable twinview mode 4:Reboot 5:Launch Screensaver and time out 1 mins 6:Screensaver can't go into fullscreen mode 7:This symtpom is NOT observed in single monitor mode This symptom is NOT observed with RHEL 6.2 beta or RHEL 6.1 When this issue occurs, there is one workaround that you can run screensaver in twinview mode. Set the resolution of display1 higher than the resolution of display2, then it is ok to run screen saver. Actual results: Can not launch screensaver in twinview mode. Expected results: can lauch screensaver in twinview mode. Additional info: Intel Romley + Patsburg, Nvidia video card, RHEL6.2(kernel 2.6.32-220)
Hi wayneh, could you please post xorg.log, version of gnome-screensaver and closer info about your HW (lspci -nn or something like that). Thanks Tom
When you say "cannot go into fullscreen mode" do you mean the screensaver only covers part of the monitor ?

can you post the output of rpm -q gnome-screensaver ?
