Description of problem:
freeciv latest release is 2.3.1. please update the rawhide packages. maybe it also makes sense to update f16 packages to something more recent.

2.3.1 has been in rawhide since 2012-01-05.  f16 has the 2.2.X branch, so unless there's a major online play interoperability or security issue, I don't intend to update f16 to 2.3.x.
