Description of problem:
freecol in rawhide is outdated. latest upstream release is 0.10.3. you might also consider to update it in f16 to have a recent version of the game available.

0.10.3 (which has been offered as a test-update for F16 even) suffers from a couple of severe bugs that make it worse (= less playable) than the last release.
This has been discussed in the corresponding bodhi ticket plus upstream tickets.
