Description M S Vishwanath Bhat 2012-01-17 05:16:50 UTC
Description of problem:
Currently once the transport type is specified during the volume creation, it can not be changed. There should be some way to change the transport type of volume after creation. Either from volume set command or from other CLI command.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
master

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a gluster volume with a specific transport type.

Actual results:
Transport type can not be changed after creation.

Expected results:
There should be some way to change the transport type of volume. preferably volume set or some other cli command

We intentionally avoided doing this. I do not see too much value in providing this feature.

Aren't we going to support this use case? If yes, then this should be a feature request, if no, then what is the way to use different transport?
