Description Pravin Satpute 2012-01-19 09:05:34 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #772133 +++

Description of problem:
Frequently used words not appearing quickly in candidate window suggestion box. Present criteria looks nearest key length.

This is suitable for CJK, where users actually search for Symbol matching with Key.
In Booster, we predict longest length word, so user can quickly select and improve speed and accuracy.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
ibus-european-table-1.1.2-1.fc17.noarch

How reproducible:
every-time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. select english-typing-booster from ibus-preferences
2. type "freq" and from suggestion box select "frequency"
3. now type 'fre' still you do not see word "frequency", even when it has more frequency of use than other words.

Actual results:
word "frequency" not appearing in candidate suggestion box even after typing 'fre' and having highest frequency for word "frequency".

Expected results:
word with highest frequency should appear first

Additional info:
I think sorting should be first done on uses frequency and then nearest matching word, it will make help to improve speed.

In suggestion box, we need exact match key as well, specifically for phonetic.
