Description Simon Meaden 2012-01-20 08:16:49 UTC
Installing Fedora 16 from both live media & netinst veriosn and the system seems to install perfectly but on reboot it goes directly to login not firstboot so no user has been created.

Not certain of the exact version, I downloaded the iso files on Thursday January 19th.

The problem happened in exactly the same way with both the live media iso and the netinstall iso. I am downloading the full DVD and will try that later when it has finished.

As far as I can see it installed perfectly up to the reboot point:

I installed the bootloader to the default /dev/sda, the hard drive is partitioned into a large / root partition, an /opt partition, a /usr/local partition, a /home partition and a /workspace partition and a root password has been set, however you can't login as root, I tried.
