Patch to fix the problem

Description of problem:

Even if you enable NetworkManager-wait-online.service, the console/gdm/kdm login screen can appear before ypbind has started. This means that a NIS user will not be able to login.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

ypbind-1.33-9.fc16.x86_64

How reproducible:

Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Configure system for NIS, DHCP, NetworkManager-wait-online.service enabled
2.Boot the system
3.When the login screen comes up, immediately try to login as a NIS user

Actual results:

Login fails

Expected results:

Login works

Comment 1 John Beranek 2012-01-20 13:16:56 UTC
The patch contains the suggestion discussed on #systemd on IRC, and has been tested on a Fedora 16 laptop.

Comment 2 John Beranek 2012-01-20 13:18:29 UTC
Reproducibility, results etc. clearly depend on your DHCP server/network to be slow to come up.
