Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because
the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.
Description of problem:
If a user looks at the Repos available in the left pane, and likewise tries to use the search filter in the right pane, it is evident that they are not showing the same results. I suspect the search is not filtering out unsynced repos.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
How reproducible:
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add RH content and sync two channels, such as RPMS and Supplemental RPMs
2. Create a new system template, "CrudTest"
3. In the left pane, drill down into Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server > Repositories; view available repos (presumably the ones you have synced)
4. In the right pane, drill down into CrudTest > Repositories
5. In the resulting search filter box, type "R" and wait for the filter results to return.
Actual results:
* Only two repos show up in the left pane to be selected; many, many repos appear to be selectable from the right pane.
Expected results:
These should be congruent. I suspect the data in the left pane is correct; I don't think we're properly applying a filter in the right pane to only show repos which have been synced.
Additional info:
As of work done via commit: 40ae85f2a9b20c9ebf5acf5e44aef011e9498225
This appears to no longer be an issue due to the changes in how the repositories are searched for on the right hand side.
