Created attachment 556757 [details] screenshot of broken dialog Description of problem: There seems to be a bug in the GUI, that does not allow you to choose a .crt file. This breaks the setup of an OpenVPN connection. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): NetworkManager Applet 0.9.2.0 GUI - I have this problem in F14 and F16. How reproducible: click notification area icon -> VPN Connections -> Configure VPN -> Add -> OpenVPN -> Create -> select Password mode -> CA Certificate -> browse to /etc/ssl/certs/ Actual results: No connection can be set up, because no certificate file can be selected. Expected results: Show the certificate files, choose, and continue setup of connection. This message is a reminder that Fedora 16 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 16.
