Description Jeff DeLong 2012-01-23 16:11:39 UTC
Description of problem:

Currently all Task nodes share the same property set. The properties displayed are not Task Type specific. So you can mistakenly provide a property value for a property that is not used for the Task Type, e.g., task name on a Script Task. On the other hand, you can forget to select a task type, and fill out properties that are then not saved, e.g. the script.

It would be better to list each individual task node (script task, user task, business rule task, ... ) separately in the stencil set, and when the user selects them, the property sheet would just show the required properties.

Not sure how this should work when a task is added directly by dragging from a shape already on the canvas.
