Description of problem: I had eclipse fedora packager 0.2.3.201201131027 installed on my eclipse 3.7 (downloaded from eclipse.org). I had the b3 aggregator plug-ins also installed as I was doing b3aggrcon adjustments for Juno and Indigo. The b3 aggregator editor fails in a number of tasks (for Indigo, just translating the indigo.b3aggr file fails). For Juno, I had already done the translation and the model editor was coming up ok but for the Linux Tools project if I expanded its icon and try to click on the repository, I would get a null pointer exception. I tried a number of things in the editor and glimpsed the following errors flash by: !ENTRY org.eclipse.ui 4 4 2012-01-20 13:44:10.518 !MESSAGE Unable to create menu item "org.fedoraproject.eclipse.packager.local.prepCommand", command "org.fedoraproject.eclipse.packager.local.prepCommand" not defined !ENTRY org.eclipse.ui 4 4 2012-01-20 13:44:10.519 !MESSAGE Unable to create menu item "org.fedoraproject.eclipse.packager.local.srpmCommand", command "org.fedoraproject.eclipse.packager.local.srpmCommand" not defined !ENTRY org.eclipse.ui 4 4 2012-01-20 13:44:10.519 !MESSAGE Unable to create menu item "org.fedoraproject.eclipse.packager.local.BuildCommand", command "org.fedoraproject.eclipse.packager.local.BuildCommand" not defined To start narrowing down the editor problem, I tried removing the eclipse-fedorapackager plug-ins from the plug-ins folder. The editor works fine now both for the Indigo b3aggrcon files and Juno b3aggrcon files. The translation of the indigo.b3aggr file also now works for me whereas it always failed in a location somewhere in EMF before. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 0.2.3.201201131027 How reproducible: Download Eclipse 3.7 (I have not tried on 3.7.1 but it may fail there as well) Install the b3 aggregator editor as detailed on: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_b3/aggregator/manual also install eclipse fedora packager. Import org.eclipse.indigo.build from CVS :pserver:anonymous.org:/cvsroot/callisto double-click on indigo.b3aggr Follow the wizard steps. This failed for me. If it succeeds and the model editor comes up, open Linux Tools folder so you see a repository. Click on repository to select it.
I've created an upstream ticket for this and CC'd you there. Thanks for the bug report! https://fedorahosted.org/eclipse-fedorapackager/ticket/157
I'm closing this bug here, since I'm unable to reproduce and comments have been added upstream.
