Cloning Rawhide bug for tracking in Fedora 16. +++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #784937 +++ Description of problem: The libhail client library in Fedora 16 does not support subdomain addressing, although this feature was available upstream for a year or so. This is needed for non-default S3 regions. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): hail-0.8-0.6.gf9c5b967 Actual results: hstor_set_format() undefined Expected results: hstor_set_format() available Additional info: Might as well fix known crashes and leaks while at it. I also looked at a wholesale backport of everything upstream has, but it is in a disarray due to fumbled 1.0 release. I would prefer sticking with 0.8 and cherry-pick the parts I need for my tests. Sorry for being selfish :-) --- Additional comment from zaitcev on 2012-01-26 15:32:24 EST --- I updated Rawhide with a cherry-picked version hail-0.8-0.7.gf9c5b967.fc17 http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=295939 Not sure if anyone wants an F16 version, through Bodhi. I can download and rebuild that RPM for myself, it's pretty clean, so I'm good here. Jeff? --- Additional comment from jgarzik on 2012-01-27 12:08:40 EST --- If you're willing to do the work, F16 would be nice :)
