Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): policycoreutils-2.1.4-13.fc16.i686 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. touch test.file 2. chcon -t user_home_t test.file 3. fixfiles check Actual results: A message is logged in /var/log/messages claiming test.file to have been relabelled: Jan 28 00:38:56 helen setfiles: relabeling /root/test.file from unconfined_u:object_r:user_home_t:s0 to unconfined_u:object_r:admin_home_t:s0 Expected results: no such message is logged. Additional info: running merely "fixfiles check test.file" doesn't trigger the problem
Yes, the "fixfiles check" is not supposed to do relabeling.
