Description of problem:
TCMS is not able to filter cases along category "--default--". Even there are cases with default category, the filtered list is empty.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Nitrate 3.6.3 

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to plan
2. Have at least one case with default category 
3. Show filter options
4. hit Filter button
  
Actual results:
empty list of cases matching given conditions 

Expected results:
at least one test case should be displayed

we can't reproduce this issue on some plan, would you please raise an example?

Verify 3.8.0-2 on stage --> PASS

Verify steps:

1. Go to plan
2. Have at least one case with default category 
3. Show filter options and filter it by default category
4. hit Filter button

Actual results:

Filter successfully
