Presently the Topic Locale for a new Topic defaults to ar. Can we make it default to en-US (until it can be configurable as a preference)?

Fixed in 20120216-0936

The System Property topicindex.defaultLocale defines the default locale.

The available locales are sourced from SimpleDateFormat.getAvailableLocales()

In the longer term this should be override-able at the Project level, so that individual projects can specify different languages as the source language.
