Description of problem: Hi, the python-sqlite2 maintainer is wanting to orphan the package as most/all code can use the sqlite3 module that's built into python-2.5+'s stdlib instead. Taking a look at the packages that dep on it, I saw that synce-sync-engine has a Requires: python-sqlite2 but it doesn't appear to use any python-sqlite2 code. synce-sync-engine does use "database" files so I speculate that it used sqlite at one time but has since ported to using an internal, picklable data structure instead. Would it be okay for me to remove the dep and rebuild the package for F17 and rawhide?
