Thanks for a bug report. I'm moving this to evolution-rss, but the backtrace itself seems to crash somewhere in a JavaScript code the actual page behind the link may have defined.

But the thing is, it's not page specific.  I reopened evo and went back to that page, and it worked fine.  I've had the same experience with other pages--a crash when I open the full version, then it works fine when I go back.  So I think some sort of cruft must accumulate while evo runs, and then gets cleaned out when it crashes and restarts.  No idea what that might be, though.

Do you think it's caused by a memory corruption, use-after-free or something like that? Maybe running evolution under valgrind will help to identify the issue, though it's very slow for usual day work.

The command looks like this:
   $ G_SLICE=always-malloc valgrind --num-callers=50 evolution &>log.txt
Note that valgrind can avoid certain crashes, it logs about them instead, thus even if the application will not crash then the log can contain the information about the issue. Also make sure that you've installed correct debug information packages at least for gtkhtml3, evolution-data-server, evolution, evolution-rss and any other evolution-* packages you are using, thus the log will contained detailed debug information. With 'correct' is meant that the binary package version should be the same as the debuginfo package version, otherwise the symbols doesn't match.

I'm also wondering whether the more current version of evolution-rss still suffer of this (I consider Fedora 15 pretty old).

I haven't had a chance to play with valgrind or to update yet, but I have learned that the crash is most frequently associated with http://feeds.feedburner.com/538dotcom?format=xml.

has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 15. It is
