Description Rolle 2012-02-12 00:54:09 UTC
Description of problem:
When I recorded some DVB-Streams with MythTV I made the recorded streams to full mpg-conform and cut the recordings all with dvbcut.
But with a hd-stream (720p) all the stream is scanned, but it didn't find any video in there.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Fedora 16, dvbcut 0.6.2-alpha-release/176

How reproducible:
every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. record with MythTV 0.24.1 a hd-stream (720p)
2. load that stream in dvbcut

Actual results:
no video-stream is found

Expected results:
scan the whole stream and find the video and audio streams and let it edit and export

Additional info:
My hope is, that only a small amount of code or remove of a limiting size-check is necessary to make dvbcut hd-stream-capable.

this needs to be reported upstream, it's not a Fedora specific bug. I suspect it's quite a bit of code as HD uses a completely different codec.
