Description of problem: In the installation guide, the step http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Update_Infrastructure/2.0/html/Installation_Guide/sect-Installation_Guide-Installation_Requirements-Package_Installation.html requires an update of the file "/etc/pulp/client.conf" However, this file is no longer present in 2.0.2. Instead, the file "/etc/consumer/consumer.conf" seems to take over the function. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.0.2; rh-rhui-tools-2.0.53-1.el6.noarch.rpm;RHEL-6.2-RHUI-2.0.2-20120203.1-Server-x86_64-DVD1.iso; rhel 6.2 How reproducible: N/A Steps to Reproduce: N/A Actual results: Out of date installation instruction with regards to "/etc/pulp/client.conf" Expected results: The step http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Update_Infrastructure/2.0/html/Installation_Guide/sect-Installation_Guide-Installation_Requirements-Package_Installation.html should point to "/etc/consumer/consumer.conf" instead Additional info: N/A
need to update docs for this change.

this file actually needs to be changed to /etc/pulp/admin/admin.conf, not /etc/pulp/consumer/consumer.conf

------- Comment From chavez.com 2012-07-06 15:59 EDT------- Hi Red Hat, What is the target release or delivery for the updated package? Thanks.
Hi Milan, the changes are removed from the guide because it's not required any more in 2.1. Thanks. Julie
Verified that changes were removed in 2.1 in section http://documentation-stage.bne.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Update_Infrastructure/2.1/html/Installation_Guide/sect-Installation_Guide-Installation_Requirements-Package_Installation.html There is no longer info about /etc/... (since it's not required in 2.1) Moving bug to VERIFIED.
Technical note added. If any revisions are required, please edit the "Technical Notes" field accordingly. All revisions will be proofread by the Engineering Content Services team. New Contents: Previously, the RHUA hostname had to be manually included in the configuration files. This update hads automated the step and the procedure is no longer required. It has been removed from the RHUI Installation Guide "Package Installation" chapter.
