Why does colord use this port?

Are you using NIS?

No NIS on my system.

Comment 7 Daniel Walsh 2012-12-11 19:02:28 UTC
Has this happened again, or can we just close it as a weird anomoly

Comment 8 Hayke 2012-12-11 22:19:25 UTC
happens on every boot, but will re-investigate tomorrow to get more information.

Comment 9 cjallen7180 2012-12-18 23:52:49 UTC
This occurs when I boot up the system. After I start up and load into my default user profile, I receive this error message. I'm thinking this may be due to a variation in desktop configurations, but I'm not sure. In GNOME, I customized the desktop background, and I don't think the settings are compatible with KDE. Any advise for alleviating this issue is appreciated.

Architecture: i686

Comment 10 Daniel Walsh 2012-12-19 14:43:49 UTC
Well if you want the issue to go away you could tell setroubleshoot to ignore the issue. Or you could write custom policy for the avc.

# grep howl /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -DM mycolord
# semodule -i mycolord.pp

Comment 12 Hayke 2013-02-05 14:47:55 UTC
After fresh install of Fedora18, this issue cannot be reproduced on my system. It might have to do something with conflicting configurations between desktop-environments (gnome/cinnamon/kde/...)?
