I was not able to build on FC8. On FC9, following are the steps:


1. yum install publican
2. svn co http://svn.fedorahosted.org/svn/publican/trunk/publican-jboss
3. cd publican-jboss/
4. sudo make local (this builds and install publican-jboss RPM)
5. build your books (make html-en-US | make pdf-en-US etc).
