The problem is fixed within https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/PBR-139, but the fix isn't included in EPP 5.0.

core/portletbridge-impl/src/main/java/org/jboss/seam/jsf package is empty, all classes were deleted at r575 commit.
While the comment is only about PBR-127, the package itself has not been removed, probably due to concurrent commits. Althougth it should not affect jar signature, I guess it would be better to remove it. Can you remove it locally from the jar and see if that fixes it?

EPP 5.0 cr1 includes portletbridge 2.0.0.CR1 which contains org.jboss.seam.jsf.SeamPhaseListenerWrapper.
I suppose the problem will be fixed when EPP includes portletbridge 2.0.0.FINAL

EPP 5.0.GA includes 2.0.0.Final. You can get the bits from http://scratch.englab.brq.redhat.com/mpodolin/jboss-epp-5.0.0-GA-100503-SNAPSHOT.zip

I believe we should close this when https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBDS-1208 is verified. Either of them messes up seam portlet app.
