Still appear in FF3.6 on Windows, or Chrome on Windows. In IE7 gadget doesn't work at all, so there I haven't tested it.
Not fixed.
Tested on EPP-5.1.0-ER3

Have you seen my comment:
If i click on the "save" button (not the one in preferences it doesn't save for me on EPP), does anyone know if that was tested on GateIn ? 

Basically it worked for me when clicking on edit preferences>Save and not the save button directly.

Also what is the issue with IE7 according to GTNPORTAL-1534 it should have been fixed

In fact I tested again and it works fine when clicking Save (The edit icon will disappear in ER04 as there is no preferences)
