RHEL 7 will support SSM -- the system storage manager. This will require documentation in the LVM manual.

This bug is only for possible updates to the LVM manual. Main documentation for this could be in Storage Administration Guide.

Just FYI the System Storage Manager documentation can be found on:

http://storagemanager.sourceforge.net/

including the manual page in the sources. All of the documentation (including man pages) are based on rst files which can be found in the sources as well.

In RHEL 7 the System Storage Manager will ship with man page and README only.

The System Storage Manager is covered in the Storage Administration Guide and does not affect the LVM manual.
