Comment 1 RHEL Program Management 2012-05-03 05:41:16 UTC
Since RHEL 6.3 External Beta has begun, and this bug remains
unresolved, it has been rejected as it is not proposed as
exception or blocker.

Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to
propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the
next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Comment 2 Paul Wouters 2013-04-19 18:10:10 UTC
I will add -fno-strict-aliasing -Wformat-nonliteral -Wformat-security

Comment 8 Paul Wouters 2013-07-18 14:14:03 UTC
this was added already in the previous release, 2.6.32-20 for CVE-2013-2053. Should this bug be closed?

Comment 10 Ondrej Moriš 2013-09-30 11:07:35 UTC
A note for QE: There is no need for a standalone test since the fix can be seen directly via RPMdiff.

Comment 12 errata-xmlrpc 2013-11-21 23:41:34 UTC
