Description of problem: After bypassing some other issues and deploying travel.war on Tomcat (see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=788596 and https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=788589), it turns out that the JSTL core tags (usually with prefix "c") don't work as expected. The whole content inside e.g. <c:if> element simply doesn't appear on the page. To fixed this, the version of web-app in src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/web.xml has to be downgraded to 2.4. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Tomcat 5.5.33 How reproducible: Always. Steps to Reproduce: 1. deploy travel.war (can be used the one from attachment) 2. try to log in with wrong username or password 3. no error message appears (it uses core tags to render, doesn't work) Actual results: No error message appears. Of course, this has many other impacts on travel app behavior. Expected results: Error message that states that the wrong comination of username and password has been used should appear. Additional info:

New Contents: The JSTL core tags included in the Travel example do not work as expected when used on Tomcat. This means that no error is given even when incorrect information has been entered into the example. The workaround for this issue is to downgrade the version of web-app in src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/web.xml to web-app 2.4.

Fixed in WFK 2.0.0.GA.
I also had such problems when I was traveling, now very expensive tickets and bad internet. But the main thing is to know where to buy tickets at a good price, so it does not cost too much. Recently I bought tickets to Switzerland with the help of https://voyagu.com/destinations/business-class-flights-to-europe-switzerland/, I bought tickets at a nice discount, you can do the same. I like to fly to Switzerland, because it is very beautiful and comfortable, I would like to move here one day. It's a beautiful country with wonderful traditions and people.
