Description of problem:
libpcap.so.1 is missing during anaconda install, rendering tcpdump unusable

libpcap.so.1 => not found

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

I was testing the FC17 rc4 iso image to make an upgrade and wanted to debug the network

The installation environment doesn't include tcpdump to begin with.  Where are you getting it from?

Hi Chris,

my fault! Closing this one. Didn't think that PATH would be extended to /mnt/sysimage, I assumed it was included in the install env.
