Description Yujie Zhang 2012-02-28 09:08:42 UTC
Description of problem:

There are two Reset Password page on our website(app/account/password/new and app/account/password) , and the Reset Password button should be hidden after submitting one time.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

devenv_1648
rhc-site-0.87.9-1.el6_2.noarch

How reproducible:always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to Openshift website and login
2.Go to app/account/password/edit page and click the "Forget your password? Reset it now" link.
3.Try to reset you password

Actual results:

After I click the "Forget your password? Reset it now" link on app/account/password/edit page,I will be taken to app/account/password/new page.
After I click the "Reset Password" button on this page,I will be taken to app/account/password page and the "Reset Password" button is still visible.

Expected results:

Do we really need two Reset Password page? And the "Reset Password" should be invisible after submitting one time without refresh.

Additional info:

The issue of "Reset password " button should be invisible after clicked if without refresh does not exist on devenv_1642.

Looks like a bug in form validation when streamline is enabled. John, can you take a look at this?

Comment 4 John (J5) Palmieri 2012-02-29 16:44:12 UTC
There are a couple of bugs here.

1) layout is using the old header and footer - we should use the header and footer for the new console
2) routing is wrong here, on error we should route back to /new and the page should not change other than the error message and the highlighted e-mail field
3) we are hitting an error even with a valid e-mail when checking against streamline

Looking into this now.

Comment 5 John (J5) Palmieri 2012-02-29 21:25:30 UTC
Sort of fixed in master.

We now validate correctly and show errors accordingly but the error for empty e-mail address is different from invalid e-mail address. For invalid we are getting a system error. Trying to track that down now

Layout has been fixed

Verify this bug on devenv-stage_139, it has been fixed now, thanks.
