Description of problem: Fedora 17 Live Media will not boot either in normal graphics or in Basic Graphics mode. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Fedora-17-Alpha-x86_64_Live-Desktop.iso How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Try to boot Fedora 17 from DVD burnt using iso image 2. 3. Actual results: With normal graphics mode no signal goes to the monitor, the monitor goes to standby mode and nothing further happens. In Basic graphics mode an error is shown on a grey screen, and nothing further happens. Expected results: Fedora 17 Live CD boots normally. Additional info: My smolt profile is attached.

Are you using the vga output ? If so it should work with the dvi output.
This message is a reminder that Fedora 17 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 17. Fedora 17 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2013-07-30. Fedora 17 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version.
