Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 801419
Using ondisk=disk/by-id/scsi-3600508e000000000fe0650e63c52eb06 fails to find the target to install to.
Last modified: 2013-04-15 09:18:54 EDT
Description of problem: On systems with SAN disks we use the ondisk=disk/by-id/scsi-xxxx option to force the install to the local disk on the server. When I try this with RHEL7 it fails. I eliminated all the SAN disks to verify that that was not the problem. With just the local disk it also fails. When I remove that install option, the install succeeds.
