The current stable version of Identicurse is 0.9. The current version of the Identicurse package in Fedora is 0.7.3, which has several bugs that upstream has no intention of back-porting (namely proper unicode support). Version 0.8.2 seems to be stuck in updates-testing since September for some reason, but I'm not sure why. I'm currently a contributor to the project, so any feedback on this would be most welcome.
