Description of problem:
making a simple user report with option of pdf gives an exception:

error: 'ascii' codec can't encode characters in position 10-13: ordinal not in range(128) (more in the log file)

list exported to the recent directory

As there is V1 scenario of having user reports, putting high priority to get fixed. thanks.
