+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #724677 +++ securitylevel_name: Public This behavior seems to be similar for all popup elements in GWT (date pickers, images, ...) on iPad/iPhone devices. Popups are supposed to disappear after user clicks/taps anywhere outside of it, but it doesn't work on iPad/iPhone. In some cases, only way how to get rid of already popped-out element, is to navigate to different page and back, or to activate different element on the same page. It seems like devices are ignoring single-tap event outside area of popped-out elements. These are tested popup elements and *only* actions how to make them disappear: image - single tap directly on image date picker - pick a date simple text area - activate different element on page --- Additional comment from oskutka on 2011-05-09 07:38:35 EDT --- Link: Added: This issue is incorporated by JBWFK-17 --- Additional comment from rebecca.jboss on 2011-05-23 02:04:22 EDT --- Release Notes Docs Status: Added: Documented as Known Issue Release Notes Text: Added: iPad and iPhone devices ignore single-tap events outside of popped-up elements. Popups do not disappear when the user navigates away. The following workarounds are available: Image Single tap directly on the image Date Picker Pick a Date Simple Text Area Activate different element on the page Other Navigate to a different page and back --- Additional comment from rnewton on 2012-03-09 00:55:01 EST --- is this still relevant for WFK 2.0.0? --- Additional comment from kpiwko on 2012-03-15 11:54:40 EDT --- Yes it is valid for GWT 2.4.0 as well, cloned to WFK 2.0.

Jonathan Fuerth <jfuerth> made a comment on jira WFK2-38 We could track this as an Errai issue, but it's really a pure upstream issue with GWT. We generally haven't tracked pure upstream GWT issues in our own issue tracker to date. I think we can safely close this.
