Created attachment 572813 [details] Kickstart file that generates my remix I have been building remixes for many Fedora releases now. I recently have run into the following error when trying to rebuild the 32-bit version of Fedora 16: - - - - Error creating Live CD : Unable to install: Rpmdb checksum is invalid: dCDPT(pkg checksums): konq-plugins.i686 0:4.6.1-1.fc15 - u - - - - This is after all of the packages have been installed. I do not get this problem on the 64-bit build. Please note that I have removed my package cache and let it download everything again... and that I'm sure my copy of that package is correct... as I have resynced with the Fedora repos. I have also tried building after several series of updates but I still run into the problem. This seems to have started happening after the KDE 4.8.1 package updates were made for Fedora 16. Any idea how to sidestep this issue? Attached is the MontanaLinux.ks file I use.
I don't know if this is relevant or not, but starting last Friday, March 23rd, I have been trying repeatedly to install Fedora 16 i686 PAE using a network install CD, and it has repeatedly failed with the following error in a window labeled "Error Running Transaction": There was an error running your transaction for the following reason: Rpmdb checksum is invalid: dCDPT(pkg checksums): konq-plugins.i686 0:4.6.1-1.fc15 - u. The install always gets to "Packages completed: 1989 of 1990" when the error occurs. Given that the error messages are exactly the same, perhaps they are related?
This looks like a repo problem. Try building with only the core repo, not the updates and see if it has the same problem.
The package konq-plugins has been replaced by kde-baseapps. It should be remove from the kickstart (like I've done from mine).
