Tested with esc-1.1.0-13.el5_8.2 on RHEL 5.8 (X86_64 and i386). * Esc app not starting problem is reproduced with the following packages: # rpm -q esc firefox xulrunner esc-1.1.0-12.el5 firefox-10.0.3-1.el5_8 firefox-10.0.3-1.el5_8 xulrunner-10.0.3-1.el5_8 xulrunner-10.0.3-1.el5_8 * Applied esc-1.1.0-13.el5_8.2 with the fix, ESC app starts successfully. # rpm -q esc firefox xulrunner esc-1.1.0-13.el5_8.2 firefox-10.0.3-1.el5_8 firefox-10.0.3-1.el5_8 xulrunner-10.0.3-1.el5_8 xulrunner-10.0.3-1.el5_8 * Smartcard enrollment/format/pin reset operations on a Gemalto 64K smart card works fine. * ESC successfully recognize Safenet 330J, Gemalto 64K, CAC card GEMALTO GCX4 72K, CAC card GEMALTO TOPDLGX4 144 and CAC card Oberthur ID One V5.2 on a OMNIKEY 3121 reader. Note: Before installing esc-1.1.0-13.el5_8.2, make sure no esc process is running, or remove the old esc rpm from the machine. There is one outstanding ESC issue under investigation - ESC shows problem while displaying customized external HTML based token enrollment UI and security officer station functions are not working, bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=807408 Marking this bug verified.
