Description Sergio 2012-04-11 19:33:45 UTC
Description of problem: after pressing 'e' to edit a grub2 menu line the cursor shows below a certain character but pressing 'Del' deletes about 7 characters forward on screen and it's very hard to figure what to do (I haven't succeeded yet) making it impossible to edit the entries 'on-the go'.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
1:1.99-19.fc17

How reproducible: always.

Do you also see this after installing grub2-2.0-0.22 with grub2-install ?

Comment 2 Sergio 2012-04-18 09:37:27 UTC
The one I have here is 1:1.99-19.fc17.
Is 2.0 in rawhide? I'll check that, update and test.

Comment 3 Sergio 2012-04-18 10:00:50 UTC
Hi, in rawhide there's only 1:1.99-19.fc18

Comment 4 Mads Kiilerich 2012-04-18 12:08:40 UTC
Right - http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=310417 haven't been pushed yet. You can however download and test it right away...

Comment 5 Sergio 2012-04-18 12:55:09 UTC
I tested editing the 'linux' line and it worked properly now, thank you.
