Hi Kevin, Thanks for the bug report. Could you please let me know what your _original_ kernel version was? I'd like to try reproducing it here using exactly the kernel versions you are/were using. Thanks, P.
/sbin/new-kernel-pkg is from grubby, not the kernel.
Since RHEL 6.3 External Beta has begun, and this bug remains unresolved, it has been rejected as it is not proposed as exception or blocker. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
This appears to me to be a bug in Yum Extender, which we don't ship. At any rate it's certainly not a grubby bug. I'm closing this, as I don't think it's our bug. If there's data which shows that I'm wrong, feel free to re-open it.
