When a sync operation fails with an exception, the "summary" field isn't filled out in the sync history.

This currently causes at least the "status" command to fail when such a sync operation is the most recent one in a repo's sync history.

The client should tolerate this situation (displaying "PLUGIN ERROR" with no listed finish time)
