If you build libguestfs outside Koji, you have to set an RPM
variable.  The easiest way is to create a file called
$HOME/.rpmmacros and place the following definition(s) in it:

%libguestfs_buildnet   1
#%libguestfs_runtests   0

(The second line will disable the tests if uncommented).

For mock, the situation is slightly more complex.  You have
to set the macro on the mock command line:

mock -D '%libguestfs_buildnet 1' [etc]

Note that in both cases, libguestfs will need access to the
network and will download RPMs from your yum repository, which
should be set to point at RHEL 6.2 or 6.3.  I haven't tested
whether or not this can be done from RHN.  If 'yumdownloader'
(from yum-utils) works, then this should work.

imho it's not a proper solution. all package should have to build in mock (currently only 3 packages can't be build and one of them is libguestfs).

anyway why have to need to access and rpm build to the net?? why have to download packages during build? imho it's not a solution. all package (ie. all src.rpm) should have to contain all information and resource to build itself ie: in BuildRequires all external dependencies, and in the sources and patches all internal sources.

I'm sure it'd be better if it just worked, but the special
requirements of building the libguestfs appliance make this
impossible.  Just set the RPM macro, or use Koji for your builds.

it was working in 6.2 why not in 6.3? if the default in spec file NOT to build net then why try to build it? if it's not possible to build without net then why there is such an option in the spec file?

It worked just the same way in 6.2.  Indeed it's worked this
way since libguestfs was added to RHEL in the beginning.
