Description Edouard Bourguignon 2012-05-11 09:48:33 EDT
Description of problem:

In the online accounts settings, I can't see my jabber account I previously defined on F16. Anyway, I try to add this account account again, but I can't select a jabber/xmmp account type, so I have to choose a Google type account (Gtalk?), but then I have this error:
"Cannot resolve proxy hostname ()" and I can't go further. Therefor telepathy is unable to connect.

My proxy in the network settings is set to the follwing configuration URL:
file:///home/edouard/autoproxy.pac

which works perfectly on my browsers. Does't telepathy support Pac files for proxy settings?

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
telepathy-gabble.x86_64 0.16.0-1.fc17

How reproducible:
static

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Upgrade f16 to f17
2. try to add a jabber account in gnome-shell

Actual results:
Cannot resolve proxy hostname ()

Expected results:
should use the pac file

Additional info:
mc-tool list
gabble/jabber/myjabberaccount_40xmpp_2edomain_2ecom0
salut/local_xmpp/account0

but online account settings is empty
