Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description of problem:
Tomorrow I wasn't able to log in to my system through gdm (although console login worked). As it turned out reason was the message from Active Directory (using winbind for authentication) that my password will expire in 13 days, which got shown in the greeter window.

After I changed my password on the console and tried to log in to gdm again, everything worked. 

I guess GDM does not start a session whenever PAM returns any message.

/var/log/secure shows only successful logins.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Hook up the computer with active directory (winbind for auth)
2. Set the account to have any expiring password
3. Try to login
  
Actual results:
I get a message informing me about the expiring password, after a few seconds it returns to the plain greeter window.


Expected results:
I expect to being dropped into a X session.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 is in the Production 3 Phase. During the Production 3 Phase, Critical impact Security Advisories (RHSAs) and selected Urgent Priority Bug Fix Advisories (RHBAs) may be released as they become available.
