Description Mr. Meval 2012-06-10 14:06:55 EDT
Description of problem:
The debuginfo packages for libmpg123 which is bizarrely named
mpg123-debuginfo and the debuginfo package for mpg321 have a conflict in install.

Both put the following file and link in during install.

/usr/lib/debug/usr/bin/mp3-cmdline.debug -> mpg321.debug

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
mpg123-debuginfo-1.13.7-1.fc17.x86_64
mpg321-debuginfo-0.2.13-3.fc17.x86_64

How reproducible:
Install libmpg123 and mpg321 then attempt to install the debuginfo packages

Steps to Reproduce:
1. yum install libmpg123 mpg321
2. debuginfo-install mpg321 libmpg123
3.

Actual results:

Running Transaction Check
Running Transaction Test

Comment 1 Mr. Meval 2012-06-10 14:08:16 EDT
Both put a link to a file in

/usr/lib/debug/usr/bin/mp3-cmdline.debug -> mpg321.debug
OR
/usr/lib/debug/usr/bin/mp3-cmdline.debug -> mpg123.debug

depending on which is installed first.
Comment 2 Ville Skyttä 2012-07-10 12:14:07 EDT
Neither mpg321 nor libmpg123 is shipped by Fedora, so bugs in them should be reported somewhere else where those packages originate from.
