Comment 1 Weonjong Lee 2012-06-14 07:32:55 EDT
When we use ibus, we can switch the key board between English and Korean.
The trouble is that if we set the ibus to Korean and the KDE screen lock is
on, then the unlock password font is set to Korean and not allowed to switch
to English using an ibus key combination. Hence, one has to kill
the KDE screen lock as a root. This is quite annoying.
I would be very grateful if you could fix this bug in Fedora 17.

Best wishes,
Weonjong Lee

ibus-setup provides the setting of XKB engines for non-configure desktop.
But KDE already provides the XKB settings in systemsettings command instead.
Please use systemsettings for KDE XKB configuration.
You could choose the XKB options to switch XKB keymaps in systemsettings.

systemsettings -> Input Device -> Keyboard -> Layout.

input method shortcut key Control+space won't work for the password dialog due to the security issue.
