Description Bohuslav "Slavek" Kabrda 2012-07-16 06:50:13 UTC
Hi,
a package rename from django-* to python-django-* has been approved by FPC some time ago to conform better with the naming guidelines. As your package doesn't have an opened rename request yet, I'd like to ask you if you could do so. You can find all the information in these [1] and [2] and a quick howto in [3].

Thanks!

I've followed the instructions here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Bkabrda/Django_rename
but failed again:
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=4353938

BuildError: Error running GIT command "git clone -n git://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/python-django-tinymce /var/lib/mock/dist-6E-epel-build-1427363-231277/root/tmp/scmroot/python-django-tinymce", see checkout.log for details

Could not execute new_sources: Error checking for python-django-tinymce-1.5.tar.gz at: https://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/repo/pkgs/upload.cgi

I've no idea what the error message means.
am I missed anything?

p.s., I've run `fedora-cert -n` and re-generated a new cert, still fails.

I think that you are doing a wrong thing. Renaming the source file won't help you. You need to open a completely new review request and rename the whole package (specfile) - achieve that by following instructions at mentioned URL. See for example bug 839382 to see how Matthias did the same for django-mako.

Comment 5 Yuguang Wang 2012-08-03 12:23:42 UTC
This is a review request required for renaming an existent package.
django-tinymce is renamed to python-django-tinymce. details as below:

Spec URL: http://yuwang.fedorapeople.org/python-django-tinymce.spec
SRPM URL: http://yuwang.fedorapeople.org/python-django-tinymce-1.5-1.fc16.src.rpm

[yuwang@localhost django-tinymce]$ rpmlint python-django-tinymce.spec /home/yuwang/rpmbuild/SRPMS/python-django-tinymce-1.5-1.fc16.src.rpm

python-django-tinymce.spec: W: invalid-url Source0: http://django-tinymce.googlecode.com/files/django-tinymce-1.5.tar.gz HTTP Error 404: Not Found
python-django-tinymce.src: W: invalid-url Source0: http://django-tinymce.googlecode.com/files/django-tinymce-1.5.tar.gz HTTP Error 404: Not Found
1 packages and 1 specfiles checked; 0 errors, 2 warnings.

Yuguang, you need to open a fresh new Review Request for this, I believe. The package looks good, so I believe it's going to be a quick one.
