Description of problem:

kernel hangs at reboot ( ctrl-alt-del ).

flushing ide devices: hda X

( X is where the cursor is)

How reproducible:


Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot
2. press ctrl-alt-del

    
Actual results:

hangs at the described spot

Expected results:

reboot

Additional info:
kernel 2.4.20-2.21-athlon did not have this problem.

My IDE devices are :

hda - Teac CD-W540E , ATAPI CD-RW , hda=ide-scsi
hdb - Teac CD-532E-B , CD-ROM
hdc - IBM Deskstar 120GXP, 60 GB hard drive
hdd - Quantum lct20 20GB hard drive

Chipset : SiS 745
CPU : athlon 900MHz

we saw this too... should be fixed in 2.4.20-2.45 and later
