Description of problem: The battery test should not use HAL for test planning or execution. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): v7 1.6.4
It looks like udev (v7/UdevDeviceDetectory.py) should work for the battery test. Here's an example: udev device: /devices/LNXSYSTM:00/device:00/PNP0A08:00/device:01/PNP0C09:00/PNP0C0A:00/power_supply/BAT0 ------------------------------------------------------ SUBSYSTEM power_supply POWER_SUPPLY_NAME BAT0 POWER_SUPPLY_MODEL_NAME COMPATIBLE POWER_SUPPLY_SERIAL_NUMBER 3660 info.udi /devices/LNXSYSTM:00/device:00/PNP0A08:00/device:01/PNP0C09:00/PNP0C0A:00/power_supply/BAT0 DEVPATH /devices/LNXSYSTM:00/device:00/PNP0A08:00/device:01/PNP0C09:00/PNP0C0A:00/power_supply/BAT0 POWER_SUPPLY_TECHNOLOGY Li-ion POWER_SUPPLY_VOLTAGE_NOW 12447000 POWER_SUPPLY_ENERGY_FULL_DESIGN 71280000 POWER_SUPPLY_POWER_NOW 0 POWER_SUPPLY_ENERGY_NOW 60170000 POWER_SUPPLY_ENERGY_FULL 60180000 POWER_SUPPLY_STATUS Unknown POWER_SUPPLY_CYCLE_COUNT 0 POWER_SUPPLY_PRESENT 1 POWER_SUPPLY_MANUFACTURER SANYO POWER_SUPPLY_VOLTAGE_MIN_DESIGN 10800000
