Description of problem: After Installed node,then enable cim and set a password in the TUI and Press F2 to gain shell access, then execute "service ovirt-cim status", it shows active status, but after disabled cim via TUI, service ovirt-cim status still shows active Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ovirt-node-iso-2.5.1-1.0.fc17.iso How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install ovirt-node using the TUI 2.Enable network 3.Enable CIM and set a password in the TUI 4.Press F2 to drop to shell 5.Run:service ovirt-cim status 6.Then disabled cim via TUI and repeat step4,5 Actual results: service ovirt-cim status still shows active after disabled cim via TUI Expected results: service ovirt-cim status shows inactive after disabled cim via TUI Additional info: service ovirt-cim status shows inactive after disabled cim via command "service ovirt-cim stop"
This is correct, though perhaps a bit misleading. The ovirt-cim service always runs (but does nothing). It is a wrapper service for starting/stopping the sblim-sfcb service. There is logic in the start and stop processes for ovirt-cim to enable and disable the sblim-sfcb service based on whether cim is enabled or disabled.
